What is SignaBrowse?
Myosotic has brand new product: SignaBrowse!
It is file explorer like application, which helps to view, find and organize all
the signals on your hard disk. SignaBrowse automatically calculates some of the
most popular parameters of browsed signals such as: Min/Max, STD, Mean,
Zero-crosses, Area and display them along with other standard information from
the file like Signal Name, Number of samples, File source. SignaBrowse works
only with .TXT and .CSV files skipping another file formats, which save time and
help the observer to find easily needed signals.
Myosotic SignaBrowse is using an algorithm for
automatic pattern recognition. For example, it is able to find all the
signals scanned from certain muscle- no matter where they are stored on disk. We
tested internally with signals scanned from muscles related to human gait and
obtained accuracy in the interval 89%- 100% depending on the muscle. That same
mechanism could be used to find 'outliers' - signals that are scanned from the
same muscle as the rest of the signals in a group, but eventually may have some pathological variations.
Application could be used not only for EMG
signals, but as well for another kind of bio-medical signals such as EEG, ECG
and other sorts. Although the pattern recognition algorithm is working well with
electromyography signals saved in ASCII format, application could be customized
to work with variety of file formats, variety of signals. Some specific
analysis- required by the customer, also could be added .

Organize your data!
Start Myosotic SignaBrowse. Click on the
folder that contains scanned signals. On the right pane, you will find all the
signals (from .TXT and .CSV files) along with information for: Signal Name,
Number of samples, File Name, Date/Time, Min/Max, Mean, STD, RMS, Zero-crosses
and Normalized Area. Signals can be re-ordered by their column values. For
example, if you'd like to see which signal has most samples, just click on the
header of the column "# of Samples" and signals will be re-ordered from
smallest to the biggest number of samples. Signals can be ordered in
ascending/descending order for all of the listed parameters. You can re-order
the columns by just clicking on column header and dragging it to the new
place. User also could hide/show needed columns.
Status bar shows how many files are there
into the selected folder and how many of them are considered signals.
User can save
most visited folders in Favorites list and easily access them lately.

Analyze your data!
Myosotic SignaBrowse calculate more that 12
parameters of certain signal. Some of them (Min/Max, STD, Zero-cross, etc) are
calculated automatically and displayed along with signal properties. Another
set: FormFactor, Median, Mean and Median Frequency are calculated for selected
signal per users request.
There is
special analysis called "Group Type", which recognize to which of previously
defined group certain signal may belongs. That is an rough way to recognize
'outliers'- signals
that are scanned from the same muscle as the rest of the signals in a group,
but
eventually may
have some pathological variations.
All the groups are defined by the user. User can
define a group by simply checking the signals from the list and calling
"Define a Group" menu. Best number of signals, which defines a group is from 6
to 10. User can also delete and rename already created groups.

Recognize your data!
One of the most powerful features of Myosotic SignaBrowse is the ability to
search
signals
from certain group throughout the hard disk. Most of the time, researches have
to remember which file what kind of information
contains. There is documentation of how such information has been collected,
but it is tedious process to keep an eye on all the documentation surrounding
data acquisition process. SignaBrowse easily solve these problem by using fast
and simple classification algorithm. User simply defines which folder to
search (could specify the whole disk), group to search for and if
sub-folders are considered in the search process. The result is list of found
signals, their locations on disk and their source file name.

Myosotic
SignaBrowse offers the ability to print (print preview) displayed signals and
their parameters in table format- suitable for reports and results displaying.

Automatic registration
SignaBrowse
does not require a dongle to work with single copy of the product. Newly
installed version of SignaBrowse will require a registration code. Such code
will be sent from Myosotic, LLC in 24 hours after the payment was received.
After entering the code, the application automatically contacts registration
server and become activated. Every single code activates only one copy of SignaBrowse software.
